Peter K. Kamran

Peter K. Kamran is an experienced litigator and Partner at Lester Korinman Kamran & Masini, P.C. He is an advocate for taking an early, active defense against legal actions that have been taken against his clients. Peter seeks to have a positive impact on the lives of the clients who walk through the door of the firm by protecting the rights of those struggling with financial issues.

Peter primarily handles bankruptcy, foreclosure, and commercial litigation from inception through resolution. He has argued before the Appellate Division, as well as the New York State Court of Appeals, the highest Court in New York State, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He also supervises the firm’s associates and legal staff.

Peter received his Associate degree in 1993 from Suffolk County Community College and his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996 from Adelphi University. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration in 1997 from Dowling College. Lastly, Peter attended law school at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2004.

Before joining the firm, Peter was employed in the secondary mortgage loan market. He wanted to become an attorney for a reason much similar to Roy Lester’s, namely because “The practice of law is the one profession where, generally speaking, every participant (attorneys, litigants, and judges) is on an even playing field – governed by and subject to the law.”

When he isn’t vehemently fighting for his clients, Peter likes to spend time with his daughter in his private life. His hobbies include reading, drawing, and yard work.
